East Beach Fish And Chips

This place sells the best potato cakes I have ever eaten in my life. The fish was tasty and the crab sticks. If Steve Irwin was still alive he would eat here. I can't wait to tell my uncle Paul Hogan about this place...."that's not a potato cake...This is a potato cake.....I can't overstate how good these potato cakes were. Thanks for bonza tucker aye

Best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Had the Blue Grenadier, scallops and a handful of chips. Everything cooked to perfection and the batter was so light and tasty. Such a gem of a place. Do yourself a favour and get yourself some tasty tucker!

We always seem to eat mid afternoon …not lunch time and not dinner We thought maybe fish and chips would be great near the sea We hoped so anyway Driving around yesterday we saw this place …might as well give it a try Well we were by NO means disappointed Noticing grilled squid on the menu we just had to try Butterfish Barramundi Dim sims and chips were also on the order along with a late order gourmet potato cake …hmmm A short wait and we sat down at the outside tables though we needn’t worry with the inclement weather as they were undercover Opening the package we were delighted with the crisp n crunchy hot chips and the amazing crisp bubbly secret recipe batter on the fish The grilled squid was for me a no go with an allergy to chilli that was well liked anyway Kindly I received something extra …a piece of battered squid as I couldn’t eat the marinated one …to my delight it was sooo soooo delicious Both fish and all items were cooked to perfection Now the only issue is this place is no where near home but will be a definite go to whenever we are in the area Thank you for such a wonderful takeaway meal Don’t go past this place …go in this place and you will not be disappointed with what you choose to order

The fish and chips has the lowest price we ever had during our trip in Australia. Yummylisious. Fish are super fresh and crispy on the outside. Thank you so much. We had an awesome brunch facing the ocean.

Old school - still cool. Fabulous hard working and charming owners, great fresh fish bites and huge chips. Then up to the renovated (2025) beach seating BBQ and amenities area on the beach and fight off the sea birds!

Nice family run business that does yummy F & C. Staff are busy but still friendly and the servings are generous. Happily recommend.
